A forerunner is one who goes ahead of others to blaze a trail for Christ to be revealed. Forerunners are called to sink the plow of God’s truth into the hard ground of men’s hearts and plow up this hard ground caused by tradition, wounds, experiences from the past, religion, and faithlessness.

God spoke to Evangelist Barbara Lynch that she was “another John The Baptist”. As a forerunner, she was used by God in many unusual ways that revealed the truth of Jesus Christ in ways the modern day churches did not understand.
