October 29, 2026 Evangelist Pastor Barbara
Envy and strife are the two strongholds hedging in My Remnant Ones at this hour. You must understand that no matter what I say, you have to do your part. What is My part, you ask? Your part is to continually stay in and walk by faith, not by circumstances. Be totally and completely surrendered unto Me, the author and finisher of your life. Take nothing for granted. The enemy will strike at the most opportune moment. He is vicious and cruel. He has no boundaries. He pilfers and plunders all that is good, hoping to undermine your faith with hopelessness.
James 3:16-18 KJV: 16 For where envying and strife is, there is confusion and every evil work.
17 But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy.
18 And the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace of them that make peace.
Scriptures on Envy KJV
Proverbs 14:30 — “Envy makes the bones rot.”
Galatians 5:26 — “Let us not become conceited, provoking and envying each other.”
Romans 1:29 — Envy is listed among destructive behaviors that corrupt communities.
Scriptures on strife KJV
1 Corinthians 3:3 — “For whereas among you envying, and strife, and divisions, are ye not carnal…?”
Proverbs 17:14 — Strife spreads quickly and should be stopped early.
Proverbs 15:18 — A hot-tempered person stirs up strife, but patience calms conflict.
Scriptures Calling Believers to Peace Instead KJV
These passages offer the biblical alternative to envy and strife:
James 3:17–18 — Wisdom from above is “peaceable, gentle… full of mercy.”
Romans 12:18 — “As far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone.”
Matthew 5:9 — “Blessed are the peacemakers.”
The Bible consistently teaches that envy and strife destroy peace, create disorder, and open the door to harmful behavior. In contrast, God calls His people to peace, humility, patience, and unity.
