Fresh Word – August 14, 2025 – Evangelist Pastor Barbara – Evil in the Air
There is evil in the atmosphere—evil of all kinds. Run for the rock and do not be moved from your place of authority. The enemy is roaring louder than ever before. His minions are scurrying all around, trying to destroy My very elite.
Children, this is no game. This is an ALL OUT WAR! Stay at your posts. Continue to hold up the prodigals. The enemy does not want the prodigals to come home. He has every passageway back blocked with enticing fruit. You, church, must be there to lead, guide, and direct them safely home.
You must stay close to the Father’s heart at all times. You must rectify the issues on the home front daily; you cannot for one moment let down your guard. August is a month of blessings, but it is also a month of all-out war.
There has never been a time of warfare like this in church history. The enemy is warring for keeps, and the elite is his target. You can make it through this maze of confusion. You don’t need to stop and ponder; keep moving at all costs.
Victory is here. You need to acknowledge this and not give in to the wiles of the enemy.
Children, there are more for you than against you.
2 Kings 6:16 says, “And he answered, fear not, for those who are with us are more than those who are with them.”.
Matthew Henry’s Concise Commentary
Matthew 6:13-23 What Elisha said to his servant is spoken to all the faithful servants of God, when without are fightings, and within are fears. Fear not, with that fear which has torment and amazement; for they that are with us, to protect us, are more than they that are against us, to destroy us. The eyes of his body were open, and with them he saw the danger. Lord, open the eyes of our faith, that with them we may see thy protecting hand. The clearer sight we have of the sovereignty and power of Heaven, the less we shall fear the troubles of earth. Satan, the God of this world, blinds men’s eyes, and so deludes them unto their own ruin; but when God enlightens their eyes, they see themselves in the midst of their enemies, captives to Satan, and in danger of hell, though, before, they thought their condition good. When Elisha had the Syrians at his mercy, he made it appear that he was influenced by Divine goodness as well as Divine power. Let us not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good. The Syrians saw it was to no purpose to try to assault so great and so good a man.
As a child of God, you can withstand all the assaults of the world and the devil and arise from these attacks as “more than conquerors”. We conquer sin not by our own strength, but only through God by His mercy and grace.
