Fresh Word – Personal Walk – January 16, 2026 – Evangelist Pastor Barbara

Today would be an excellent day to turn your life around 100%, and follow Me. This playing Russian Rolette needs to stop before you destroy your personal walk with Me totally and completely.

Why can’t you understand the wiles of the enemy? Where is your sense of responsibility for your walk with Me. You cannot blame another brother or sister for your spiritual walk. I gave each one a free will and no one can change your will, except you.

You do not have to go the way others go. They cannot make you do what is wrong. Take an inventory of what is going on deep in the inside of you. When you are doing this, make sure you put the Holy Spirit in the mix. He can help lead, guide, and direct your footsteps. Just ask!

“Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.” – Matthew 7:7

The Bible teaches that God has given us free will, allowing us to make choices in life.

Deuteronomy 30:19: “This day I call the heavens and the earth as witnesses against you that I have set before you life and death, blessings, and curses. Now choose life, so that you and your children may live.”

This verse emphasizes the importance of our choices and the freedom we have to choose between good and evil.

The Choice of Love

When we talk about God giving us free will, we cannot overlook the beautiful aspect of choosing love. God desires a relationship with us built on love, not obligation.

Love requires a choice; it is genuine when it comes from our free will. This means we are invited to love God, love others, and even love ourselves. Through our decisions, we can express the love that He encourages us to share, and it becomes living out our faith.

By choosing love, we reflect God’s nature, showing compassion, kindness, and forgiveness to those around us. This choice empowers us to act in ways that align with God’s will and brings us closer to His heart.

1 John 4:19 “We love because he first loved us.”

Galatians 6:7 “Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows.”
