Fresh Word – January 7, 2026 – Evangelist Pastor Barbara – Expectancy

January 7, 2026

Evangelist Pastor Barbara

Stand still and watch the salvation of the Lord at work on your behalf.

“stand still and see the salvation of the Lord” is found in Exodus 14:13-14, where Moses instructs the Israelites to remain calm and confident as they face the Pharaoh’s army. This moment occurs during their escape from Egypt, where they are trapped between the Red Sea and the pursuing army. Moses reassures them by saying, “Do not be afraid. Stand still, and see the salvation of the Lord, which He will accomplish for you today” (Exodus 14:14). This verse emphasizes the importance of faith and trust in God’s plan, even in the face of fear and uncertainty.

Yes, transition is taking place at the current hour. New faces, new places, new assignments, and  new authority with the Greater Glory moving in your lives.

Stand back and watch the salvation of the Lord perform the miracles you have need of. There is not one thing I am going to leave off of My promise list to you.

Expectancy! Great expectancy should be ruling in the inner most being of your spirit. Without expectation, you cannot receive all of your promises. I do not mean dull expectancy, I mean full-blown jumping up and down expectancy.

This is the hour and the time for all My promises to come full circle around.

Be stead fast and sure, then just stand and watch the salvation of the Lord at work.

HEY, HEY, HEY, IT IS TRULY REJOICING TIME! NOW REJOICE AND AGAIN I SAY REJOICE.

The Bible encourages believers to have a hopeful expectancy in God’s promises, emphasizing faith, hope, and trust in His goodness.

Isaiah 40:31: “But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary; they will walk and not be faint.” This verse encourages us to expect strength and renewal from God when we place our hope in Him.

Philippians 1:20: “According to my earnest expectation and hope, that I will not be put to shame in anything, but that with all boldness, Christ will even now, as always, be exalted in my body, whether by life or by death.” This verse highlights the importance of having a confident expectation in Christ.
