Fresh Word – Enemy – August 27, 2025 – Evangelist Pastor Barbara

The church is in a time frame where the enemy is trying to steal your promises. One small mistake could ruin your promises, so why not stay close to My Bosom and receive all of your promises? Church, the enemy is not playing games; he is in all-out war mode. Why can you not understand this concept?

 He consistently steals, kills, and destroys. He never slumbers nor sleeps. He is constantly mapping out plans to steer you off course. The path before your feet is narrow. There is no room for a slip-up.

 You must die to the flesh. It is the flesh that causes you your problems. My heart’s cry for the church is Holiness and Righteousness. My word tells you, “if you walk in the spirit, you will not fulfill the lusts of the flesh” Galatians 5:16 NIV  So I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh. Galatians 5:16 NLT So I say, let the Holy Spirit guide your lives. Then you won’t be doing what your sinful nature craves.

 What is this telling Me? When you get offended, argue about what My prophet prophecies, get angry, don’t walk in love and forgiveness, and are prideful. What are the lusts of the flesh? 1 John 2:16 “For everything in the world—the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life—comes not from the Father but from the world.”

Romans 8:5 “Those who live according to the flesh have their minds set on what the flesh desires; but those who live in accordance with the Spirit have their minds set on what the Spirit desires.

Living by the Spirit

Galatians 5:15 Berean Standard Bible 15 But if you keep on biting and devouring one another, watch out, or you will be consumed by one another. 16 So I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh. 17 For the flesh craves what is contrary to the Spirit, and the Spirit what is contrary to the flesh. They are opposed to each other, so that you do not do what you want.

 Church, when will you stop compromising and walk in the Spirit? When you compromise your walk, you weaken your anointing and eventually lose it totally.
