Nowhere in My Word does it tell you that your walk with Me will be smooth sailing; so why do you keep asking Me Why Lord? The Why question comes up over and over again and I have still yet to figure out why.

My Word tells you that you will suffer for My sake…

Philippians 1:29 (NKJV)
29 For to you it has been granted on behalf of Christ, not only to believe in Him, but also to suffer for His sake,

My Word tells you that I will never leave you nor forsake you while you are suffering or any other time as far as that goes.

Hebrews 13:5 (NKJV)
5 Let your conduct be without covetousness; be content with such things as you have. For He Himself has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.”

Paul and My disciples knew what it was to excel while suffering. They knew mountain top experiences as well as valley experiences and they kept on going.

You say… How could they do this? The answer is very simple… They knew their Father and they knew from whence cometh their help and they stood on that firm foundation. They never took their eyes off of the prize of the high calling.

1 Corinthians 9:25 (NKJV)
25 And everyone who competes for the prize is temperate in all things. Now they do it to obtain a perishable crown, but we for an imperishable crown.

Where are your eyes today? Are you like Peter… when the waves roared he took his eyes off of Me and placed them on the waves. Have you also taken your eyes off of Me and My promises when the enemy comes rushing in?

Matthew 14:31 (NKJV)
31 And immediately Jesus stretched out His hand and caught him, and said to him, “O you of little faith, why did you doubt?”

You know the enemy has no strength and power; apart from what you give him. Yes, he is going to prevail. Yes, he is going to throw all things at you. Yes, he is going to try to tear you asunder; but the only power he has is what you give to him.

My Body has been going through a Job experience and they have not been prevailing. Read about My servant Job and see how he came through victoriously and then follow suit.

I am with you in all things and My Strength will prevail.

Jeremiah 1:19 (NKJV)
19 They will fight against you, But they shall not prevail against you. For I am with you,” says the LORD, “to deliver you.”
