Cry out to Me in this hour and rid yourself of all selfishness and jealousy. It is poisoning the body and crippling the soul. It smothers out love and rises the old man back to life. They are roots joined in pride and must be destroyed.

Love is an action. It is a selfless act with your mind stayed upon Me and not on self. Love is the opposite of the selfishness and jealousy. This selfishness and jealousy is growing like a briar patch in your hearts and will continue if you do not learn to love.

Selfishness and jealousy brings unmet desires and expectations and causes you to chase after things that are not going to be received because it will not be good enough and will leave you unsatisfied. It is the complete opposite of what My Word has commanded you to do and a trap to bring you into a deep dark pit.

You will not be able to understand love until you look beyond yourself and see what you are doing to those who you are around and care, and see that change must take place in your heart. You must not walk under condemnation for that is not of Me. But you must allow conviction to take place. Allow the conviction to bring change.

You must put your selfish desires away and pick up the love that I have given you to have.  When you do this happiness will be yours to have and the emptiness will fade away. Joy will return and this will be your strength to overcome.

Give up the selfish and jealous ways. They are nothing but a death sentence in your walk with Me. I do not desire to take away anything I have promised but as you read My Word these two things must be far from you to receive even true wisdom from Me.

Selfishness and jealousy brings chaos and compacts more sin in your life. It brings death and not life. It develops a greater wedge between you and I. It blinds you with great deception and disillusionment. My heart is crying out for you this day to turn from this dark and evil way. Give Me these desires and allow Me to purify them. The hour is late and there is no time for hesitation.

Lay yourself out before Me and cry out before Me in true repentance. Come to Me with a convicted heart and see that I will remove the poison and briars of this selfishness, jealousy, and pride and will teach you how to truly walk in love and in the precepts of My Word in each and every step you take.
