I want to take this opportunity to thank everybody that came out to support and participate in the Lighthouse Church’s first Marriage Seminar. It was a Hugh success thanks to all of you. Below are some highlights from Saturday pm and Sunday am and pm teachings.

Saturday night Rev. Christopher and Rev. Kathryn taught a powerful teaching on the mistakes we so often make in our communication skills with our new spouses. They brought out the story of Abram and Sarah and how they took things into their own hands after God had told them exactly what was going to happen and emphasized how we as married couples do the very same thing—take things into our own hands—when we think God is not going to come through with His promises.

Once again Rev. Christopher and Rev. Kathryn shared another power packed message on Sunday morning; the teachings were fantastic; with many wonderful examples. We laughed a lot with Rev, Christopher and Rev. Kathryn as they shared their ups and downs in one short year of marriage. They also spoke on how to help the other spouse heal from wounds that we might inflict upon them because we don’t understand where they are coming from. This was a perfect teaching not only for already married couples but also for singles on the dos’ and don’ts of marriage.

The Marriage Seminar came to its conclusion Sunday PM with Rev. Brett and Rev. Nancy. What a fantastic teaching on sex in the bedroom and before marriage; and bringing perversion into the marriage. Once again we laughed and cried with Brett and Nancy as they shared their ups and downs and the dos’ and don’ts.
