In Me there is no beginning and no ending. I created all things, and I own all things. Those who claim to own their own souls are mistaken. Either I am the author and finisher of your lives, or the dark side is. It is up to you who has final ownership. I have equipped you to defeat the enemy at every turn.

It is you who determines if you stay on the rock or stand on sinking sand. I have given you free will, and you can choose whatever you like. The bottom line is: Whom shall you serve?

The key Bible verse that directly expresses the idea that “our life is not our own” is Jeremiah 10:23: “I know, O Lord, that the way of man is not in himself; it is not in man who walks to direct his steps.”

1 Corinthians 6:19-20 NIV
19 Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; 20 you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your bodies.

Revelation 22:13 – “I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End.” This affirms God’s eternal existence and sovereignty over all time.

Psalm 90:2 – “Before the mountains were brought forth, or ever you had formed the earth and the world, even from everlasting to everlasting, you are God.” This emphasizes God’s existence before creation and His eternal nature

In this passage, Joshua summarizes God’s covenant with Israel and urges the people to remain faithful to the Lord. He presents the choice starkly: either continue serving the Lord or return to the gods of their ancestors or the gods of the land they inhabit. Joshua then declares his own commitment: “But as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.” This personal declaration underscores the principle of wholehearted devotion.
