[In the spirit realm I saw a drill bit being driven into a thick wooden plank. Strips of wood being driven out with a smoky smell like burning wood; the bit of the drill was extremely hot and smoking.]
The driving force and pressing through has been steady and constant. The force and relentlessness of this perseverance has tested My true children and continues on in this final push unto breakthrough.
The chaff and fallen residue that has come out of this process is like burned refuse that is good for nothing. Everything I am purging you of is refuse that is no good for you. Do not pick up the things that I have worked out of you and pressed out of you, and do not go back into the old habits that have been detrimental to you.
Yes, the heat is high and you are experiencing the breaking point and testing limit – but I will never allow you to go through more than you are able to bare.
The burnt smell of this testing process is your flesh that is dying and falling off of you. Many of you have been so focused on pressing forward and not giving up in these extreme trials that you have not noticed much of your flesh has been stripped and removed from your being.
This is why I have told you to keep your eyes on Me and do not give up. Keep drilling forward for soon you will push through to the other side and you will find total rest in My presence.
I have called some of you to be forerunners. That means you did not have a pre-drilled path that made it easy to sink the nail into the woodwork to bring together the body and establish My kingdom.
You, My forerunners, are the first line of offense to clear the path for the others. You are the drill bit I am using to push through and clear the path. I am the drill itself, and My finger is laid heavy on the trigger and I am behind you pushing you forward.
I am not a God that puts the wrong bit in the drill, and I certainly do not use the wrong size or material for a given piece of wood. I will not use a weaker bit for a piece of mahogany and nor will I use an overpowered bit for a stick of pine.
I am the Master Crafstman and I have chosen you for this hour to push through and make way for the others to follow. [In the spirit realm I see the Lord wearing a shop apron with safety glasses and a measuring instrument in his hand with a pencil.] Who among My people will help me build My church to minister to the harvest of souls?
[In the spirit realm I see the Lord using a thickness planer.] I am stripping the layers down to the core, removing all the old from the surface and making new and fresh material out of My vessels who allow me to reshape them. I have removed all the knots and warped pieces, and I am preparing to My chosen ones to be used in the exact way I have designed them to function.
[In the spirit realm I see the Lord using a hand plane.] I am fine tuning and perfecting My children for this hour. Yes, this time and season is rough and extreme, but know that you are in My hands and I am the one pruning and stripping and removing all those things which are going to harm you if left unchecked.
You are in My woodshop at this given time, but find peace and comfort knowing that once you are finished and perfected that I can use you for your designed function and purpose as I have ordained since before the foundation of the world.
Be sober and vigilant, for the enemy walks around like a lion seeking whom he may devour; I say this that you would be aware that now of all times he is seeking to take you off course and cause you to be unusable in what I am doing in this season and at this time. Stay in My presence and keep your eyes upon Me and this process will be over before you know it.
[In the spirit realm I see being made ready different types of varnish and stains; the final procedures are nearby before the drying and curing is settled and the glory is revealed.]
“Where were you when I laid the earth’s foundation? Tell me, if you understand. Who marked off its dimensions? Surely you know! Who stretched a measuring line across it? On what were its footings set, or who laid its cornerstone …” (Job 38:4-6, NIV)
