I have told you to get rid of your idols and your idle talk. I have told you to lay down your own thinking and your own understanding. I have pleaded with you to do this and I have shown you many things that would take place if you would do this. I have even commanded you to have no other gods before Me including yourself. But you still have not yielded. You still want Me to do things your way, in your timing, and you will not let go of those things that you hold before Me. You try to put conditions on Me and try to persuade Me to do things how you want Me to do it and you still want the same results that I have told you would take place if you were obedient to what I have said.

Am I God or are you God? If you think for one moment that you can do things better and you know what is best, I will take up My hand and leave you to your own devices and terms. I want you to really get serious with Me and seek Me for the truth on what you are holding above Me.

I want you to ask yourself, if you were to lose absolutely everything in your life, just a Job did, and I mean everything and not be promised anything until you reach Heaven for eternity, would you still serve Me with all your heart, mind, and soul and do all that I ask of you? I want you to really let this sink down into your spirit-man and be truthful with yourself.

Many of you get angry with Me for the small things that goes wrong in your life and throw temper tantrums in areas that you do not understand or you want immediate results. I want you to really think about where you are at with Me and to see what do you really hold above Me that you need to let go of.

Before you I have blessings and curses and if you are obedient you are blessed. But if you do not listen to what I am asking of you, then you fall under the cursing and you will not prosper as you would if you would only yield. I am a jealous God and I expect you to not hold anything above Me and to be willing to yield all for Me. I have command you to love Me and keep My commandments. I have not commanded you to do only what you decide to do and discard the rest.

Really search yourself this day. Let your heart and soul be completely searched and allow the truth to come up so that you can be set free of the curses of obedience and walk under the blessings of obedience.

I do not desire to lift My hand. I will not force you to do things that I have asked and commanded of you. The choice is yours. I am moving forward and I am not going to wait for you to continue to ignore My callings, My wooing, and My warnings. Let these things go and get serious with Me. Put Me first in your life and all other things will line up. Really search and seek Me to find out what you are not doing and be open to receive. If you cannot do this, a long hard road is ahead. I will be here to help when you need it, but you will have to go through what I didn’t intend for you to do.

Seek Me. Search yourself in detail and in truth. Be honest with yourself and with Me. Let’s get these things corrected and then you will see how deceptive things have become and you will be able to go forth one step at a time into the place you are to be.

I am reaching out My hand for you. Will you reach out to Me and grab My hand and leave all else behind and follow Me? Or will you choose your own way and continue to hold onto your idols and continue in your idle talk and not follow through? These are serious questions and I do not want you to take this lightly but search yourself well and you will see where you are with Me.

“You shall have no other gods before me. “You shall not make for yourself an idol in the form of anything in heaven above or on the earth beneath or in the waters below. You shall not bow down to them or worship them; for I, the LORD your God, am a jealous God, punishing the children for the sin of the fathers to the third and fourth generation of those who hate me, but showing love to a thousand [ generations] of those who love me and keep my commandments.” (Exodus 20:3-6, NIV)

“Those who cling to worthless idols forfeit the grace that could be theirs.” (Jonah 2:8)

“Put to death, therefore, whatever belongs to your earthly nature: sexual immorality, impurity, lust, evil desires and greed, which is idolatry.” (Colossians 3:5)

“The acts of the sinful nature are obvious: sexual immorality, impurity and debauchery; 20 idolatry and witchcraft; hatred, discord, jealousy, fits of rage, selfish ambition, dissensions, factions 21 and envy; drunkenness, orgies, and the like. I warn you, as I did before, that those who live like this will not inherit the kingdom of God.” (Galatians 5:19-21)

“Do not turn to idols or make gods of cast metal for yourselves. I am the LORD your God.” (Leviticus 19:4)

“The towns of Judah and the people of Jerusalem will go and cry out to the gods to whom they burn incense, but they will not help them at all when disaster strikes.” (Jeremiah 11:12)

“When all these blessings and curses I have set before you come upon you and you take them to heart wherever the LORD your God disperses you among the nations, and when you and your children return to the LORD your God and obey him with all your heart and with all your soul according to everything I command you today, then the LORD your God will restore your fortunes and have compassion on you and gather you again from all the nations where he scattered you. Even if you have been banished to the most distant land under the heavens, from there the LORD your God will gather you and bring you back. He will bring you to the land that belonged to your fathers, and you will take possession of it. He will make you more prosperous and numerous than your fathers. The LORD your God will circumcise your hearts and the hearts of your descendants, so that you may love him with all your heart and with all your soul, and live. The LORD your God will put all these curses on your enemies who hate and persecute you. You will again obey the LORD and follow all his commands I am giving you today. Then the LORD your God will make you most prosperous in all the work of your hands and in the fruit of your womb, the young of your livestock and the crops of your land. The LORD will again delight in you and make you prosperous, just as he delighted in your fathers, if you obey the LORD your God and keep his commands and decrees that are written in this Book of the Law and turn to the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul. Now what I am commanding you today is not too difficult for you or beyond your reach.” (Deuteronomy 30:1-11)
