My children, today I want you to see the boiling pot of anger that is in the very depth of your heart and allow Me to remove and replace it with compassion and love from My throne room, from Me.

The enemy knows your triggers and what buttons to push. He knows what will get to you and will keep pushing the buttons until you let them go and respond the way My word tells you to. That will break the button once and for all. He watches you so that he can cause things to happen to make you stumble. One of the most powerful tools he uses is anger. He will bring something your way to cause you to get angry. Then he will continue to push until you end up sinning in that anger. Then he deceives you by getting you to believe you are justified in your anger or any other sinful behavior you have allowed to overtake you.

The enemy loves to whisper in your ear to stir in more “seasoning” to the pot that is already bubbling. Then he will get you to play the blame game on whoever he sees fit, even himself. He does this so that the true repentance does not take place and that sin lingers to give him an open door to ask for you in My throne room. He is always looking for legal ground and anger is the one thing he knows is the easiest to get you with.

Anger does not come by itself. This you really need to know and understand. There is always more attached to the anger. You have hurt, revenge, spite, greed, selfishness, pity, pain, sadness and offense, just to name a few. Anger builds its own cage of captivity and protects the pot that keeps it fed. As long as you hold onto this anger you also hold onto unforgiveness and this keeps the pot boiling over. It is time to see these things as they are and not stay blinded to this trick that the enemy has played on you over and over again.

To stay in the love walk that I have called you to, you cannot hold onto and feed anger. You have to let go of the pot and then see the truth for what it is. Anger should play no part in your love walk unless it is anger towards the sin itself. You need to constantly silence the voice that he puts in your head so that you do not go off the deep end and walk straight into his trap.

Anger is an emotional battle to overcome, but I want you to see the danger of this anger for what it is and how much the enemy uses it to gain access to and control you. Seek Me and allow Me to show you the issues that trigger your anger and how to get rid of the “pot” for good. I desire to see My children completely free. You must fight against anger and fear every day so that you do not continually fall into the trap of the enemy. With My help the old habits that cause you to stumble can be completely overcome and removed so you do not continually fall victim to them.

My children, this is just the beginning of Me opening your eyes to this issue. But today I want you to see the triggers the enemy uses and allow them to be destroyed. Come and seek Me and come into My presence and see the truth of what is still going on inside of you and do not allow denial to have any place. I want you to use the spiritual hammer that I have given you to smash those buttons and do not allow them to surface again. Ask Me and I will replace them with buttons of My love, compassion, kindness, patience, longsuffering, joy and peace. You must walk in complete love, My love and to do this you must get rid of the anger that the enemy uses against you. I love you and you will be free and will stay free. Understand that anger is just like a sickness and the cure is My love. Press in today My children and claim your victory over this and walk out of the blindness and into My truth.

“In your anger do not sin”: Do not let the sun go down while you are still angry, and do not give the devil a foothold. He who has been stealing must steal no longer, but must work, doing something useful with his own hands, that he may have something to share with those in need. Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen. And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, with whom you were sealed for the day of redemption. Get rid of all bitterness, rage and anger, brawling and slander, along with every form of malice.” (Ephesians 4:26-31)

“My dear brothers, take note of this: Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry, for man’s anger does not bring about the righteous life that God desires.” (James 19-20)

“A fool gives full vent to his anger, but a wise man keeps himself under control.” (Proverbs 29:11)

“A man’s wisdom gives him patience; it is to his glory to overlook an offense.” (Proverbs 19:11)

“Do not be quickly provoked in your spirit, for anger resides in the lap of fools.” (Ephesians 7:9)

“A gentle answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger.” (Proverbs 15:1)

“A hot-tempered man stirs up dissension, but a patient man calms a quarrel.” (Proverbs 15:18)

“But now you must rid yourselves of all such things as these: anger, rage, malice, slander, and filthy language from your lips.” (Colossians 3:8)

“What causes fights and quarrels among you? Don’t they come from your desires that battle within you? You want something but don’t get it. You kill and covet, but you cannot have what you want. You quarrel and fight. You do not have, because you do not ask God.” (James 4:1-2)
