Dear Family and Friends of the Lighthouse Inc Church,
It is with a heavy heart that we write to share a final update regarding Johnny McGinnis’s stepmother, Wanda McGinnis.
While we recently shared that Ms. Wanda was continuing to face a critical health battle, her condition shifted rapidly this evening, July 17, 2026. We have just received confirmation from the family that she has passed away.
As we navigate this incredibly fluid and heartbreaking situation alongside Theresa, Johnny, and their loved ones, we ask our church body to wrap them in an immediate blanket of prayer and support. Please join us in requesting:
    • Comfort in Shock and Grief: Pray that the Holy Spirit closely cushions the family during this profound moment of sudden sorrow.
    • Peace and Strength: Ask God to grant them a supernatural peace to carry them through the difficult days of planning ahead.
    • Community Support: Pray that our congregation can be a tangible source of love, compassion, and continuous comfort to them during this heavy time.
