Now more than ever you must walk on water. Your FAITH must be on all-time high. It must be in a place where nothing can touch you. Yes, you are in the season of every promise being fulfilled; but the enemy does not want you to receive your miracles.

When you stand in the Vibrating Light of the Greater Glory, the enemy has the audacity to believe he can still make you stumble and fall. Prove him wrong children. I am standing by your side, and I will fulfill all My promises to you.

The enemy’s natural instinct is to kill, steal, and destroy. He knows no light. He walks out his evil devices. Why are you so shocked. He tormented My Son Jesus right up to the cross, in his deceived mind, he thought he had finally won; but you know the truth.

Luke 22:36, Jesus prepares His disciples for the challenges ahead, symbolizing the need for readiness in uncertain times.

In Luke 22:36, Jesus tells His disciples: “But now, if you have a purse, take it, and likewise a bag; and if you don’t have a sword, sell your cloak and buy one.” This statement occurs during the Last Supper, just before His arrest, indicating a significant shift in the circumstances the disciples would face. Previously, Jesus had sent them out without provisions, and they lacked nothing (Luke 22:35). However, He now warns them that they will encounter opposition and danger, thus advising them to be prepared.

Interpretation and Significance
Symbol of Preparedness: The instruction to buy a sword is often interpreted as a metaphor for being prepared for spiritual and physical challenges. It emphasizes the importance of readiness in the face of adversity, not necessarily advocating for violence.

Contradiction with Later Teachings: Shortly after this instruction, when Peter uses a sword to defend Jesus during His arrest, Jesus rebukes him, saying, “For all who take the sword will perish by the sword” (Matthew 26:52). This suggests that while Jesus acknowledges the need for preparedness, He does not endorse violence as a solution.

Spiritual Warfare: Many theologians interpret this verse as a call for spiritual readiness. Just as the disciples were to prepare physically, Christians today are encouraged to equip themselves spiritually, using the Word of God as their weapon against spiritual battles.

Community and Support: The mention of a purse and bag also highlights the importance of community among believers, suggesting that they should support one another in times of need.

In summary, the directive to “buy a sword” serves as a profound reminder of the need for vigilance and preparedness in both physical and spiritual realms, while also emphasizing the importance of wisdom and discernment in how one responds to challenges.
