By Evangelist/Pastor Barbara
Maybe today, maybe tomorrow. You never know when disaster will strike. But you do know one thing: I am just a whisper away. I am unlike My children; I do not stray from My throne room. I am forever listening for the still, small voices of My children who are in trouble or growing weary.
I am forever the same; I change not. What I have spoken, I am well able to perform. You are making all the judgment calls. I am just standing by listening.
When you are ready to release your will to Me, then I can take action and set you free from the tangled mess you have created out of nothing.
Immutable
God does not change, which means that God is immutable—His character and being can experience no change or mutation. God is always holy, just, good, true, powerful, wise, and faithful. God does not lie or change His mind. God’s promises and plans are trustworthy and reliable. Several Bible verses affirm God’s immutability.
Hebrews 13: 8 Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.
Numbers 23: 19 God is not a man, so he does not lie. He is not human, so he does not change his mind. Has he ever spoken and failed to act? Has he ever promised and not carried it through?
