Evangelist/Pastor Barbara Lynch

The Father’s word of the day:

Stay True To Self.

My children have drifted off the path of who they were born to be. They have compromised different areas in their lives, and now they do not know how to get back on track with who they were born to be.

For some, this has been a costly mistake that has cost them the fullness of their walk with Me. For others, an act of repentance will bring them full circle round. Whatever the case, bring it all to the cross, turn from your compromising ways, and follow Me.

Staying true to oneself means acting in harmony with one’s beliefs, values, and personality. It involves aligning one’s actions with what one believes, even when faced with adversity or when others are present. It implies that one’s feelings and beliefs match one’s actions. Core values, or inner beliefs, play a significant role in staying true to oneself. These values are traits or ideas that hold meaning and significance to individuals and connect with their moral code, goals, and personality.

Family, community, or personal experiences can influence them. Some examples of core values include dependability, loyalty, commitment, open-mindedness, consistency, honesty, innovation, creativity, humor, compassion, adventure, optimism, uniqueness, passion, respect, fitness, courage, intelligence, perseverance, mental health, spirituality, and friendship.

Staying true to oneself can be challenging, especially when faced with difficult decisions or social pressure. However, remaining authentic and acting according to one’s beliefs and values is crucial. Individuals can maintain their integrity and lead a more fulfilling life by doing so.

Here are some Bible verses that talk about not compromising with evil/Staying True To Self.

Psalms 119:  3 – 13: “They do not compromise with evil, and they walk only in his paths.”

Proverbs 1:  10: “My son, if sinners entice you, do not give in to them.”

2 Corinthians 6:  14 – 15: “Do not be bound together with unbelievers; for what partnership have righteousness and lawlessness, or what fellowship has light with darkness?
