Covering Prayer Thursday 9/21 to Friday 9/22

Ecclesiastes 3 tells us that “THERE IS A TIME FOR EVERYTHING, AND A SEASON FOR EVERY ACTIVITY UNDER THE HEAVENS” ( vs 1)
We plot out our days with our Gregorian calendars, filling daily slots with appointments, tasks, events, etc. Sometimes it can look overwhelming. Sometimes the look is actually a reality. Our lives are filled with seemingly much busyness, all of it important in our eyes, (and the eyes of others) but much that also is just that…”busyness”, …”a much ado” that could be more appropriately labeled “less ado” God has His calendar, too, and its filled with appointed times when He desires to meet with His people. There is nothing “busy” or extraneous on this Divine calendar. If we choose to align ourselves with God’s calendar and set times, we will be blessed by positioning ourselves under Heavenly portals receiving downloads of God’s set purposes for the days and months ahead.
As believers and obedient disciples of Jesus, we make sure that we examine our hearts on a daily basis and ask for the help of the Holy Spirit in becoming more and more like our Rabbi Savior, Yeshua. But there comes seasons where Abba Father beckons us to enter into special days of reflection and repentance, both individually and corporately. We are in such an exceptional and marked by God time.
This time every year, Yahweh writes in the fall feasts… Rosh Hashannah, Yom Kippur, and Sukkot, and invites His people to attend. It is a season of great repentance and seeking His face, of erasing what we want from our personal planners, and embracing and saying ‘YES” to what He has written upon His heart for us in this New Year. This year is Hebrew Year 5784, a year of going through God’s door in this season. How exciting to STOP in these very special appointed times, make sure that our lives are in order with God’s design for us, and to move forward with great Thanksgiving and Praise to the Mighty God we serve. May we hear the THUNDER of His Mighty Voice and see the LIGHTNING of His Power and Glory in the coming days ahead. (Psalm 29)
Thank you for praying faithfully for our county, our state, our region, and nation. May God bless you and your family abundantly.
