Hosanna To The Highest!  My people do not know what this is all about.  They say a few words of praise and think they are finished.  They do not know that I am still listening for the highest praise.

Matthew 21:9 (NKJV)
9 Then the multitudes who went before and those who followed cried out, saying: “Hosanna to the Son of David! ‘Blessed is He who comes in the name of the LORD!’ Hosanna in the highest!”

“Hosanna In The Highest” means more than praise and adoration. Rather the word itself means save us. It is used as a crying out for help, salvation, and freedom.

Hosanna In The Highest” is used when we acknowledge Jesus for His ultimate sacrifice and what it means for us and mankind as a whole. This may not be something we often say out loud, but we can think it in our minds and feel it in our hearts in times of worship.
