Prosperity of soul is what I am looking for. When this prosperity comes forth; all the promises are yes and amen. You cannot prosper in any other area of your life if your soul is not prospering. The game is over and it is total commitment time.

“Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers.” (3 John 1:2, NKJV)

“My dear friend, I know that you are doing well spiritually. So I pray that everything else is going well with you and that you are enjoying good health. Some believers came and told me about the truth in your life. They told me that you continue to follow the way of truth. This made me very happy. It always gives me the greatest joy when I hear that my children are following the way of truth.” (3 John 1:2-4, ETRV)

Prosper: Make steady progress; be at the high point in one’s career or reach a high point in historical significance or importance.

What does it mean to have a soul that prospers?
The three parts of mankind is the body, soul, and spirit. The body is the physical make-up of an individual whereas the soul houses the mind, will, and emotions. In essence, the soul houses the heart. Proverbs declares, “Watch over your heart with all diligence, for from it flow the wellsprings of life.” (Proverbs 4:23).

We see here that the “heart” is central to our emotions and will. To prosper simply means to succeed. Most people automatically envision to “prosper” means to succeed monetarily. Although, John specifically states that he desires us to prosper in every way, he specifically pointed out that it is important for our bodies and our souls to succeed (in contrast to failing us).
