Set Free From Addictions; Soul Invader of a Pastor Removed!

Greetings Lighthouse members,

Another blessed day because of our Lord Jesus Christ! I am excited at what God is doing with His people here lately. We have seen God yank addictions out of people and totally set souls free from deep demonic bondage and hindrances. I am truly in awe at God’s loving grace in setting the captives free.

Today we worked first with Tim, a rather staunch and rugged man that had a bit of skepticism when dealing with exorcism and deliverance. He had not had any time of exorcism before, but he does love Jesus in his heart and serves Him. During the session God called out the spirit of addictions; and a spirit of nicotine.

At this point, Tim said something noteworthy of praise. He said, “The problem is I like smoking and I’m not really sure that I want to quit. I know I should stop, and God has convicted me of it – but I am concerned about expelling the spirits because if my desire is not dealt with, and I pick up smoking again, the word says it’s possible that I might get seven times worse.”

A very wise statement, and his honesty was much appreciated. We shared with him testimonies of ourselves and others and what God had done for us – and that once God removes a spirit and provides healing in its place, the desire is no longer there.

Tim was set free of smoking cigarettes completely. He felt so much lighter and peaceful – he even called us later that night, many hours after his session was over and exclaimed to us that he hasn’t had one urge to smoke! “This is unheard of, because I always smoke when I’m done with something, at least every hour! I know it’s only been a day, but I know I have hope and Jesus is real now.”

We also worked on Tim’s friend, Donald. Donald was a victim of much witchcraft and curse words being spoken out over him daily. God’s anointing was strong and drove out many spirits of mind control, manipulation, death, destruction and a fragment of his ex-girlfriend who was responsible for the destruction in his mind! We had severed and cut ungodly soul ties with the ex-girlfriend and the spirits were driven out in Jesus name!

Much honor is due His name, and His faithfulness never ceases. Donald was set free and had many evil spirits driven from him for 90 minutes solid! When we placed the cross on his stomach the spirit shouted “NOOOO!!!!!” it growled in a very low deep voice that was unnatural and coarse. The anointing of God destroyed the yoke and it fled into the pit.

When the fragment of his brother manifested inside of him, we learned that big brother tormented him most of his life and performed witchcraft rituals over his younger sibling. We stripped off the armor of Satan off of him and rebuked his hedges of protection. His eyes grew wide as I placed the Fire of the Living God inside his right hand. “Is your power greater than God’s power?” I asked the human interject. His face twisted and contorted but let out a prideful laugh, trying to cover up the pain he was enduring. “This Fire won’t stop until you confess Jesus is greater than the power you serve.” Finally, the fragment burst out in tears and agony and threw himself out of Donald. Jesus is VICTORIOUS!

Next we did a long distance Skype deliverance over a young man we’ll call Bob. Bob is young in the Lord and found a church to attend in his local area. At first it felt good, but he soon realized that it was not the Holy Spirit that reigned in that place. “It felt like my mind was opened up and enlightened to deeper intelligence and understanding. I thought it was God, but then I learned that we are supposed to receive into our spirit-man and by faith, that we shouldn’t lean to our own understanding. I then paid attention to what was being taught, and there was new-age stuff about enlightenment and evolution, etc.”

As if that wasn’t bad enough, the pastor of the church came and laid hands on him one service night and he fell out in the spirit – along with several others. The next service, he found out the Pastor is gay and the church promotes and condones gay and lesbian relationships.

Bob then began to have homosexual tendencies and thoughts, even though he has never been inclined to this and has been opposed to such relationships. These were demonic spirits that came in along with a soul fragment of the Pastor!

After ministering, we commanded the fragment of the Pastor to return to Jesus Christ and then dealt with the spirits of homosexuality, lust and perversion. After this, a spirit came forward that simply laughed in our face. As we tried to deal with it, it just continued to laugh in our face. We wrestled with this spirit for almost a half an hour as it mocked us and acted as though nothing we said or did bothered it.

“This always happens… when someone tries to do a deliverance on me I just laugh at them” Bob told us. We sought the Lord’s face for discernment and wisdom. We asked Bob to take authority over the spirit by himself using his authority in Christ and we would simply reinforce him and support him. The spirit has to yield and obey to his authority (in Christ) because it is his vessel. As he did this, the spirit stopped him and forced him into a trance. He stared blankly into space not responding to anything. This was the spirit doing this so that it wouldn’t be cast out.

Our earlier conversations ran through my mind. “These voices have not stopped bombarding my head, sometimes I can’t sleep at night because the voices won’t be quiet and I was actually placed in a mental hospital. My own family thought I was crazy” he shared with me earlier. I knew Jesus had to intervene and save this young man, to be used by God for His glory! I was desperate to get him set free through Christ.

God then opened my eyes to see a spirit of hatred behind his eyes, and when I called out that spirit it started laughing. Then the Lord told me unforgiveness was behind it – and when I called up the strongman of unforgiveness his face beamed a twisted clown-looking smile from literally one ear to the other (very unnatural) and laughed maniacally. The spirit was elated that it had been recognized and subsequently fell due to it’s own pride.

We called Bob back up to talk with him and led him to repentance for any hatred or unforgiveness towards anyone. As it turns out, he had been unwittingly short and rude with his mother and grandmother in the home for several weeks. After repenting and receiving forgiveness, the legal right of the spirit was removed so it could not stay within Bob.

We called the strongman and it’s partners back up and they manifested right away, but this time they weren’t laughing. The cross of JESUS was the very bane of their existence and they were driven out by the anointing and power of God straight into the abyss. Bob felt so relieved, his face washed over with peace and he felt much lighter than when we started. God met him and set him free in His everlasting mercies and grace. God told him prophetically that he will be an evangelist and a prophet. We ministered to him for a while afterward, encouraging our brother in the Lord.
