I was there when every thought of suicide would plague your mind. I was there when everything seemed to be falling all around you and that there was no hope of surviving. I was there when you felt alone, abandoned, and that there was no one who cared or understood. I was there.

I was there when the tears fell from your face. I was there when all you needed was a warm embrace. I was there when all seemed to be lost. I was there when you were broken, battered, and bruised. I was there.

I was there for every angry word that was uttered. I was there for every evil thought that came across your mind. I was there when every shady business was done and the wrong destroyed the right. I was there in the darkest hour. I was there.

I was there for every time the drugs were injected. I was there when the pain was too much to bear. I was there when you took matters into your own hands. I was there when you looked for love in all the wrong places. Yes I was there.

I was there with tears coming out of My eyes. Whispering to you that it will be alright. Wanting you to so desperately call out to Me so that I could save you. Yes I was there.

I was there with great love for you, pleading with you to hear Me calling your name. I was there wanting you to just accept My love and let Me take the pain.

Yes I was there for every wrongdoing you have done and has been done to you. Yes I was there listening to every word that was spoken waiting for one word that I could use to come to your aid. Yes, I was there.

You see I will never leave you nor forsake you. My love is something that doesn’t stop. It is unconditional and unearned. It is yours to have. I gave of My Son to pay the price for your freedom and gave you victory over all the enemy brings your way. It’s yours to have. All you have to do is accept it.

I want you to remember I am always by your side in every second of every hour. All you have to do is whisper My name and I am there ready to fight every battle that has come your way. I am ready to put My arms around you and hold you through every storm. No matter what it is, I am there.

I am always there.
