Stand upon My word for it shall surely stand and never wavier, fail or be faulty. My word is a very powerful tool that you should always carry with you at all times and in all seasons.
Do not let your sword collect dust. There is no time to lay it down and forget about it. You must have your sword, your guide, your instructions, your map, your weapons of war and love. Every day you should be using it and standing upon the words that are embedded in the pages. They are timeless and will not grow old. You need to know how to use them and use them wisely. You have the victory; you just need to find it, claim it, and walk in it.
There is so much wisdom in My word that I have provided for you, but you cast it away and expect others to give you what you need. This is not the time to think that others are going to do things for you. This is a time that you are to fight and know where you stand. It is not for someone else to know where you stand. It is not someone else’s job to fight for you unless I have directed them to do so. You are to stand and fight according to what I tell you to do and you can only know that by seeking My kingdom, seeking Me, seeking righteousness, and all of this is told in the Word that I have provided for you. You do not want to be lead astray by someone’s faulty understanding or by false teachers. You are going to have to know these things for yourself and how to use them.
Each person is unique. Each life is unique. What has worked in one person’s life will not work the exact same way in another’s. But you should still teach one another and communicate with one another so that more can be educated. This is why you must not go into a hermit shell or into a state of isolation. You should be gathering together so that you can gain strength from one another, uphold one another, and know that with numbers you can do even more through Me. But you first must know how to do things for yourself before you can help another.
Get into My word. Learn from My word. Use it. It is why I gave it to you. What kind of teacher would I have been if I did not give you an instruction book and a helper, a tutor to help you understand it? I even allow you to take an open book test so that you can find the answers. The question is do you use it or have you used it lately?
My children many of you have advanced but you have dropped the basics and keep forgetting that the basics are the foundation. Without the foundation you shall surely fall and have to be rebuilt again. It is time to check your foundation and make sure it is solid and secured. It needs to be used in the proper way so that the structure remains standing.
So today, I want you to really make a commitment to get into the Word that I have given you and use it. Use it to fight. Use it to praise. Use it to get through every battle, situation, decision or celebration that you are in. Learn how to use it properly and how to stand on it with firmness. Use it as your study guide, your guide book to the answers that I have already given you and apply them to your life.
Do not put My Word back on the shelf again. Do the studying, the reading, the research, and the digging for the special things that I have put in there for those who will pick it up and use it. Don’t forget to invite your tutor, your helper and guide, the Holy Spirit. For with both of them you will be able to see and understand Me clearly and will be able to go forth confident that you can conquer and press on.
“ Voice says, “Cry out.” And I said, “What shall I cry?” “All people are like grass, and all their faithfulness is like the flowers of the field. 7 The grass withers and the flowers fall, because the breath of the Lord blows on them. Surely the people are grass. The grass withers and the flowers fall, but the word of our God endures forever. (Isaiah 40:6-8 NIV)
