Today, My children, I want you to stop paying attention to the things that are not necessary to worry about and picking apart every situation and circumstance in your life. It is causing you more problems then you even realize.

Focus on Me. Build your friendship with Me. Build it to become stronger and deeper then you could ever imagine. I want you to come and talk with Me. I want you to tell Me your concerns and things that bother you. I want you to tell Me the things that make you sad, happy, mad, and excited. I want you to ask Me questions and just let Me talk with you.

I want you to actually sit and let Me talk with you. Do not allow yourself to become too busy to talk with Me and listen for My voice. I want you to take Me with you through out your day and even while you sleep. I want to share everything with you that you go through. I want to help you when you come across a problem or when you don’t quite see the whole picture I want you to be ready to receive the next piece that you will need to make the picture clearer and in the way that i see it.

I also want you to begin to let Me show you what you can be doing for others around you. It is time to show others what I am all about. I want to be able to use you to maybe just give someone a hug who may be having a bad day, or a co-worker who really doesn’t have the money for lunch and have you help them get that lunch. I want to use you to say a kind word to those who are being abused and misused at home. I want to use you to bring hope, healing, renewing, joy, love, laughter, and many more things into other’s lives.

As you do this you will be showing them just what kind of God you serve. I want you to do this for Me. You will see as you do this for Me, you will not keep looking at your own problems and causing the door of doubt and unbelief to be open. You will find out that as you do the little things for others the bigger things I can do for you and through you.

I want you to be a mirror of me. When others look at you I want them to see me and know that you are truly My children. I want them to see that what you are showing them is the truth and what I have to offer them. Be my glory carriers My children. Be the children that I have asked you to be and to be an image of what I, your Father is all about.

Today, I want you to focus on Me and gain a deeper friendship in Me. I want you to listen and talk with Me. Let Me show you where I want you to go, what i want you to do, who I want you to help, and how I want you to speak. Just being obedient to the words that I will tell you along the way during your day will not only touch your lives, but I can use it to touch others.

Become one with Me today. Let your reflection be the reflection of Me. Let me use you to give others a glimpse of who I am and what I am about. I want to bring hope to the lost and dying. I want to use you to do this.

Today, communicate with Me. Sit down and have a cup of coffee with Me, take a walk with Me, go shopping with Me, or just take a drive. Spend this time with Me and be amazed at what I will tell you, show you, and have you do. Let this be a beginning of something that you will do through out your week. Find this time to spend with Me and quit allowing all the junk of the world weigh you down. Focus upon Me, talk to Me, and keep your ears open to hear what I have to say.
Ephesians 5:1-20 (NIV)

5 1 Follow God’s example, therefore, as dearly loved children 2 and walk in the way of love, just as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us as a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God.

3 But among you there must not be even a hint of sexual immorality, or of any kind of impurity, or of greed, because these are improper for God’s holy people. 4 Nor should there be obscenity, foolish talk or coarse joking, which are out of place, but rather thanksgiving. 5 For of this you can be sure: No immoral, impure or greedy person—such a person is an idolater—has any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God. 6 Let no one deceive you with empty words, for because of such things God’s wrath comes on those who are disobedient. 7 Therefore do not be partners with them.

8 For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Live as children of light 9 (for the fruit of the light consists in all goodness, righteousness and truth) 10 and find out what pleases the Lord. 11 Have nothing to do with the fruitless deeds of darkness, but rather expose them. 12 It is shameful even to mention what the disobedient do in secret. 13 But everything exposed by the light becomes visible—and everything that is illuminated becomes a light. 14 This is why it is said:

“Wake up, sleeper,
rise from the dead,
and Christ will shine on you.”

15 Be very careful, then, how you live—not as unwise but as wise, 16 making the most of every opportunity, because the days are evil. 17 Therefore do not be foolish, but understand what the Lord’s will is. 18 Do not get drunk on wine, which leads to debauchery. Instead, be filled with the Spirit, 19 speaking to one another with psalms, hymns, and songs from the Spirit. Sing and make music from your heart to the Lord, 20 always giving thanks to God the Father for everything, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.

10 But when you are invited, take the lowest place, so that when your host comes, he will say to you, ‘Friend, move up to a better place.’ Then you will be honored in the presence of all the other guests. 11 For all those who exalt themselves will be humbled, and those who humble themselves will be exalted.”

12 For now we see only a reflection as in a mirror; then we shall see face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I am fully known.
