Today, My children, I want you to build a solid friendship and companionship with Me. I desire for you to talk to Me and share not just your troubles with Me, but your joys. I do not want to be remembered just in your sorrows, but also in your celebrations. I want you to build a relationship with Me that you will talk to Me just to talk to Me. I desire to do the same with you. As you would stop to talk to a friend who calls you on the phone just to talk, I want you to do the same with Me. I want you to open your communication line with Me in a broader way today.
I want you to be open to My voice at all times and in all hours of your day. I want to spend time with you in the good and the bad. I want to laugh with you as well as cry with you. I desire to travel with you as you go about your daily routines of shopping or cleaning and hear your conversation to me.
I desire for you to just talk to Me just because you want to talk. Let Me be your sounding board. Let Me be the one who you come to first. Yes, I know that you also need a companion, a friend here on Earth. I see and understand this. It is one reason why I gave Adam, Eve. I do not desire for you to be alone while you do your works for Me and while you are on Earth. I just do not want you to forget that I am also here.
I would so desire you to just call out to Me just to sit in My presence. I desire you to call on Me just because you miss me, long to talk to me, and enjoy being with Me. I desire you to call Me your friend.
Many of you on call on Me when you are upset, angry, want Me to fix things, and need something, just as most children do with their parents. But I am more than just your father. I desire to spend time with you. Just you and I sitting together and just talking about the funny things that brings you joy. I am a God who loves to laugh and enjoys to see My people happy and joyful, and I desire to share it with you.
A very few of you do this and have this relationship with Me. And to those I am asking you to teach others how to have this friendship with Me. I am asking you to bring others to Me the way that you fellowship with Me.
As you build your friendship with Me, you will see you will not feel so alone anymore. You will not have as much trouble having faith. You will not become so weary in well doing. You will find that obedience will become easier. You will find that you will be able to trust Me in a stronger way and with much less hesitation.
So I am asking you this day My children to build your friendship with Me stronger and go further in your walk with Me. Spend time with Me and share all of your life with Me. Learn how much I truly do love to hear from you. I am waiting to hear from you this day. I am waiting for you to decide to have this friendship with Me. I truly do love you, My children, and I am asking you to build this friendship with Me.

John 15:9-17
9 “As the Father has loved me, so have I loved you. Now remain in my love. 10 If you keep my commands, you will remain in my love, just as I have kept my Father’s commands and remain in his love. 11 I have told you this so that my joy may be in you and that your joy may be complete. 12 My command is this: Love each other as I have loved you. 13 Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends. 14 You are my friends if you do what I command. 15 I no longer call you servants, because a servant does not know his master’s business. Instead, I have called you friends, for everything that I learned from my Father I have made known to you. 16 You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you so that you might go and bear fruit—fruit that will last—and so that whatever you ask in my name the Father will give you. 17 This is my command: Love each other.

Proverbs 13:20
20 Walk with the wise and become wise,
for a companion of fools suffers harm.

Job 29:2-6
2 “How I long for the months gone by,
for the days when God watched over me,
3 when his lamp shone on my head
and by his light I walked through darkness!
4 Oh, for the days when I was in my prime,
when God’s intimate friendship blessed my house,
5 when the Almighty was still with me
and my children were around me,
6 when my path was drenched with cream
and the rock poured out for me streams of olive oil.

Act 17:24-28
24 “The God who made the world and everything in it is the Lord of heaven and earth and does not live in temples built by human hands. 25 And he is not served by human hands, as if he needed anything. Rather, he himself gives everyone life and breath and everything else. 26 From one man he made all the nations, that they should inhabit the whole earth; and he marked out their appointed times in history and the boundaries of their lands. 27 God did this so that they would seek him and perhaps reach out for him and find him, though he is not far from any one of us. 28 ‘For in him we live and move and have our being.’ As some of your own poets have said, ‘We are his offspring.’
Psalms 16:5-11
5 Lord, you alone are my portion and my cup;
you make my lot secure.
6 The boundary lines have fallen for me in pleasant places;
surely I have a delightful inheritance.
7 I will praise the Lord, who counsels me;
