My Word Hidden In Your Heart

Memory verses. You must heap for yourselves verses from My Word that will sustain you in times of distress. As you pull on those verses, you pull on My heart, and I go immediately into action on your behalf. You need not rely on man’s words; you need to hide My Word in your heart and then call it forth.

When you speak My Word forth, it demands immediate action on My part. I immediately dispatch the angelic host to your aid and bring comfort, hope, freedom, whatever it is that you speak forth.

Children draw upon Me at all times. My ears are constantly entuned to your voice. I am waiting to hear your requests. I see your tears always, and I bottle them up. I watch as you fumble along, unsure where to take your next step. But if you had My Word hidden in your heart, you would pull upon:

Proverbs 3:  5 – 6 (NKJV) Trust in the LORD with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; 6 In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths.

Isaiah 48:  17 (NKJV) Thus says the LORD, your Redeemer, The Holy One of Israel: “I am the LORD your God, Who teaches you to profit, Who leads you by the way you should go.

Now that you are walking in God’s perfect will for your life, God has a perfect divine plan and destiny set up for your life – and He will now be the One to guide you every step of the way into the fulfillment of that divine plan!

Children, when you are fumbling around in the darkness, have this word hidden in your heart and pull upon it: Psalm 119:105 (NKJV) Your word is a lamp to my feet And a light to my path.

When you are fearful, draw upon:

2 Timothy 1:  7 (NKJV) For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.
My Word hidden in your heart is a treasure chest of Faith, Hope, and Love. It will never fail you. It is cemented in Heaven and cannot fail. My Word was inspired by the Holy Spirit, and every word is yes and amen.

2 Timothy 3:  16 – 17 (NKJV) All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, 17 that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.

2 Peter 1:  21 (NKJV) for prophecy never came by the will of man, but holy men of God spoke as they were moved by the Holy Spirit.

Ezekiel 2:  8 – 10 (NKJV) But you, son of man, hear what I say to you. Do not be rebellious like that rebellious house; open your mouth and eat what I give you.” 9 Now when I looked, there was a hand stretched out to me; and behold, a scroll of a book was in it. 10 Then He spread it before me; and there was writing on the inside and on the outside, and written on it were lamentations and mourning and woe.

Jeremiah 15:  16 (NKJV) Your words were found, and I ate them, And Your word was to me the joy and rejoicing of my heart; For I am called by Your name, O LORD God of hosts.

Eating the Word of God may sound strange to us, But God gave us His Word to be food to us. It’s by eating the Word of God that we can be spiritually nourished and strengthened in our Christian life. But to eat the Word of God, we must go deeper than simply reading it. It must become real to us; it must be hidden in our heart.

Eating the Word of God and Speaking with God’s Words is Prophesying for God.

In Ezekiel 2:  8; 3:  4 the prophet Ezekiel was told by God to eat the scroll and speak with God’s words. We see a similar situation in Revelation 10:  8 – 11 where the apostle John ate the scroll and prophesied.

God said:  Bon Appetite. Eat and be filled to overflowing
