Dear Aligned Ones: 

Many of you are familiar with Rebecca Wagner Sytsema, the youngest daughter of Peter and Doris Wagner.  She co-authored many of my first books and has been a dear friend for years.  She and her husband, Jack, pastor a church in Grand Rapids, Michigan.

Today I would ask you to pray for Jack who is presently in emergency surgery.  Several weeks ago, he had a successful knee replacement surgery.  But through a series of events, he became very ill and they had to remove 1/3 of his colon and begin dialysis.  The doctors expect they may need to remove more, if not all, of his colon.  The family asks that we pray that he survives this surgery and lose as little colon/intestines as possible.

Let’s agree that his spirit man arises in him with strength to withstand this onslaught of infirmity. Speak life! Proverbs 18:14 says, “The spirit of a man will sustain him in sickness, but who can bear a broken spirit?”
