Why California?

Some ask why California is so strategic in God’s plan for the nation and the world. It’s pretty simple. Los Angeles and California set the pace, trends and standards for the nation. In return, the United States sets the same for the world. As California goes, so goes the nation. Southern California has the cross hairs of God placed dead center and He has pulled the trigger of change.

God is calling on the apostolic forerunners to establish new revival hubs and re-establish those that have been aborted. The eagles are circling Southern California. The message they carry is that the demonic agenda is coming to an end, and the enemy knows that his days here are limited. The Lord is also sending the oxen.

 

The Key to the Ox Anointing

Many have been called to plow California with the ‘ox anointing,’ only to leave wounded and in defeat. They often mistook the heavy warfare for an ultimate loss. What we often fail to recognize is that very anointed people with heavy missions often have extreme warfare and affliction.

A lot of the Church today teaches that those who have warfare are in sin, not hearing from the Lord or just falling short of the calling. I would say to you that many great men and women of God have had extreme warfare in their ministries and personal lives. Don’t be so quick to judge the warfare in others’ lives.

The apostles in the New Testament all had extreme warfare – stoned to death, crucified and imprisoned. Christians in the Middle East face horrendous persecution today because of the faith they have in Jesus. Stop your judgment and start your prayer assignments.

The key to the apostolic ox anointing is the steady plow of the field with stubborn tenacity. We move forward in spite of the pain, in spite of the warfare and in spite of the loss.

 

What Will These Apostolic Forerunners Do?

The apostolic forerunners that God is raising up and sending have a 1,000-mile stare. They don’t focus on warfare around them today but look beyond all space and time to a place where the tenacity has paid off and the victory is clear. I have seen the future and it looks amazing…and I have danced in victory.

Apostolic forerunners will do these things:

  1. They will carry the mandate of God in spite of warfare.

 

  1. They will live ahead of the times that we see in the natural.

 

  1. They will fight for reform on all mountains of influence.

 

  1. They will battle spiritual forces with a violent faith, possessing what rightfully belongs to the Kingdom.

 

  1. They will carry a prophetic blueprint of what the future looks like.

 

  1. They will move with demonstrations of power.

 

A Generation of Martin Luthers

Remember that apostolic forerunners will often be persecuted because the vision they carry is so different from what the current Church culture holds dear. We are in a generation of Martin Luthers that will change the landscape of the Kingdom.

It is a heavy, weighty honor to be asked by the Lord to carry such a strong mandate. Keep pressing in and through the warfare. Press through the scoffers and doubters. Remember that you don’t get the oil without the pressing, you don’t get the wine without the pressing, and you don’t get through this without the pressing.
