Please join us as we celebrate the History of the United States by honoring the President’s of our Country.

History is being re-written by those who do not have a complete understanding of it. Today we celebrate President’s Day as a National Holiday.

This day was originally set aside as a remembrance of George Washington’s birthday. He was born on February 11, 1731 but we were not on the Gregorian calendar. After the United States moved to the Gregorian Calendar George Washington’s Birthday was moved to February 22, 1732.

This was the day our countrymen celebrated his birthday until 1879 when it became a legal holiday. In 1968 the citizens voted for a Monday Holiday law to create spiritual and economic growth for our Nation. It was then decided that President’s Day would be celebrated on the third Monday of February.

There are four Presidents whose birthday were in the month of February. George Washington, William Henry Harrison, Abraham Lincoln, & Ronald Reagan. The original holiday was used to celebrate and remember the achievements of both George Washington and Abraham Lincoln.

The Lighthouse Inc, Church is choosing to honor and acknowledge the accomplishments of President Donald J. Trump. He is not receiving the recognition for his accomplishments as our 45 President. We appreciate everything that he did for this country.
