On November 8, 2016, millions will cast their vote, selecting from an array of candidates – potential leaders who will impact the direction of the United States of America. It is critical that Christians pray for the coming presidential election. There is amazing power in united prayer.
“If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.” (II Chronicles 7:14)

“When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice. When the wicked rule, the people groan” (Prov. 29:2)

• Pray for godly candidates to be elected, regardless of party affiliation
• Pray for administrators, legislators and judges to serve in a way that aligns with God’s Word
• Pray that the Holy Spirit convicts many who do not know Christ, leading them to seek Him as Lord
• Pray for elections to be fair, honest, and without corruption
• Pray for physical protection for all candidates and their families
• Pray for a movement of the Spirit that creates a dramatic cultural transformation, bringing about a nation that has learned to put its hope in the Word of God
• Pray specifically for truth to be an established standard in our news media
• Pray that America will turn back to God
• Pray the Lord would bring revival to the Church in America
