Press Release – May 24, 2020; 12:05 am

Greetings Saints,

We are pleased that the transitions have begun that will allow God’s houses to return to their rightful state of operations in the days ahead. From the very beginning of these trying times and amid the Covid-19 crisis, God spoke to Pastor Barbara Lynch and told her never to close the doors to the Lighthouse Church. She has remained faithful to God in that we have consistently held services within the scope and boundaries of the restrictions imposed by Gov. John Carney, and the social distancing protocols set forth by governmental health agencies.

The restrictions that enabled us to continue our operations with no more than ten (10) people within our premises has since been expanded to twenty-six (26) total persons. This comes from new guidelines issued by Gov. John Carney to allow churches to continue services holding a total of thirty (30) percent of their current fire-marshal building capacity.

The Lighthouse Church has and will remain obedient to God, while conforming to the regulations and laws set forth governing such operations throughout the state. We will continue to adhere to all social distancing protocols by maintaining a six-foot distance between parishioners.

At this present time the Lighthouse Church has filled our maximum allowed capacity of up to twenty-six (26) persons, and we strongly encourage each person to continue to receive from the Lord through the many outlets we provide such as our telephone conference line or our internet based live-streaming services, where you can participate and receive in the same measure. More information is available at our website: www.lighthousechurchinc.org

We will continue to keep you posted with any updates as we receive them.

Love in Christ,
The Lighthouse Inc. Church

Audio Conference Line Help:

It has come to our attention that Verizon is giving a message for some when they try to connect to our Audio Conference Line. Sometimes it takes 2 – 3 times for Verizon to connect you. This is because the phone signal is a digital signal. Verizon uses computers to route the signals into the phone number that you are calling. If 20 people call the same number at the same time, Verizon will say to call back at a later time. If this occurs, please try again until you can get into the conference call. This is something that is beyond our control. We recommend for you to start calling 5 to 10 minutes for the service starts to ensure that you do not run into this issue.

Should you run into an issue and cannot get connected, please text (302) 632-4679 and Bro. Christopher will help you get connected.

Live Stream Help:

It has come to our attention that some are having difficulty with connecting to the live stream. The live stream will begin when the sermon starts. Different web browsers connect differently and have different settings that are beyond our control. If you lose signal during the stream, refresh your web browser.

The website has been updated with a link on the front page to carry you to the live stream and to carry you to a link for archived messages.

If you are unable to connect please feel free to text (302) 632-4679 and Bro. Christopher will help you get connected.

Press Release – Nursery – March 30, 2020; 10: 00 Pm

Greetings Lighthouse Church Members,

As we continue to make the necessary adjustments to comply with the regulations contained within the most recent modifications to the State of Emergency, it is our goal to ensure the safest possible environment for anyone attending The Lighthouse Inc. Church services.

In accordance with these regulations we are enforcing social distance protocols which specify that each person must be at least six (6) feet apart at all times when reasonably possible.

We encourage each person to adhere to the local and state laws alongside the recommendations provided by the White House Administration. Following the guidance of the precautionary measures provided by the World Health Organization, we at the Lighthouse Inc. Church have decided it would be in the best interests of public health to postpone nursery services during church operation hours.

Those with prior health conditions or weakened/developing immune systems are most vulnerable to potential disease and infection, and we wish to ensure that everyone is safe and remains healthy during this trying time while still holding services. We have made accommodations for those who may not be able to attend church physically – and have begun live-streaming our services on-line and also through telephone-conferencing for those who may not have internet access. Please see the church website for more information.

We thank you for your understanding and cooperation in this matter.

Blessings in Christ,

The Lighthouse Inc. Church

Press Release: March 30, 2020 2: 37 pm

We received some very good news from the Wyoming Police Chief. According to the Attorney General for the State of Delaware, Churches are allowed to hold services provided that no more than 50 attend and they maintain social distancing.

Pastors,

Good morning. A question was brought up to me by several people in reference to whether churches can hold services or not during the Current State of Emergency. I checked into it and wanted to let you know what I found out. PER THE ATTORNEY GENERAL OFFICE. The way the emergency order is being interpreted by the Governor’s office and our office (Attorney General) with regard to churches is that they are allowed to hold services as long as no more than 50 people are in the building. They are encouraged to practice social distancing (people to be more than 6 feet apart) while services are being held. If it looks like they are not complying with these practices, I think some sort of action could be taken, such as a civil cease and desist order. But as of now they are permitted to continue to hold services.

So in accordance with the 7th modification to the State of Emergency by Governor Carney and the ruling by the Delaware Attorney General we will be holding services. Our next service will be held on Wednesday April 1, 2020 at 7 pm.

For those of you from out of State who would normally be traveling and cannot due to the restrictions, the services will be live streamed over the internet and available via audio conference line. This is free & open to everyone.

Please feel free to dial in at 1 (712) 451-0234, it will ask you for the access number, then input 896060#. The conference line will be open 15 minutes prior to the start of service.
