God’s B n’ B’s: Taking Reservations Now

I was driving home from my early morning swim. It was about 8:00 a.m., and there was a difference in the atmosphere. In a good way – something seemed different. Nothing observable to the eye – except for the most welcome, bright sunshine, which the clouds could not hide today.

● Driving past the cows in the field that I see on my way home, they are chewing their cud, blissfully content just to eat. I stretch my hand out the window to bless them, and speak peace. (I resist the urge to yell moo).

● Next I come upon the sight of tiny sparrows on the telephone wires, who seem to chirp-chatter amongst each other. As I wait for the light to turn green, to the marathon-fast squirrel that crosses the road to avoid an early demise; it seems everything is teeming with life today. Creation showcases the glory of God. If you look – you’ll see it.

● Despite all the dark events, the cascading evils that have saturated our planet the last few years, I have a different kind of expectancy bubbling from within today: HOPE. I can almost see Papa-God with His game-face on, like a smart poker player, who let His opponent think he won, only to slam down the Trump card on the table at the last second. Satan can never outwit His maker. He knows it. So he goes after us. Time to put a stop to that too.

8.When the Lord returns to Zion,
they will see it with their own eyes.
9. Burst into songs of joy together,
you ruins of Jerusalem,
for the Lord has comforted his people,
he has redeemed Jerusalem.
10. The Lord will lay bare his holy arm
in the sight of all the nations,
and all the ends of the earth will see
the salvation of our God. Isaiah 52

● I heard Trump card and poker hand, so I looked this up. Also heard ‘a royal flush’ so, I went to Rabbi Google, ha ha, and looked up that term. I learned in a game of poker, with a deck of 52 cards, the odds of winning with a royal flush (means you have the Ace card, and the King, the Queen, the Jack and the Ten card in the same suit is highly improbable.

● The odds of this translates to a mere probability of 0.00005%, making it a very improbable outcome for any player at anytime. In other words, almost impossible. But that is our God, He does the impossible. Always and makes it look easy.

● How probable was it that a Holy God would come to Earth and pay for the sin of everyone who ever lived and not hold it against us! And bring us into His Kingdom – into His glory. Paying for everything by His own blood. Highly improbable. Impossible. Yet He did it – because the Glory – His love – is not within The realms of probability, it’s highly improbable and unlikely that we should even be saved. Yet we are.

Ok, back to the title of this message: God’s B n’ B – taking reservations. I heard in my Spirit:  Beach Baptisms. Hearing now:

“Grace. This is the beginning of my beach-baptisms”. Just as the recent movie, Jesus Revolution portrayed the Jesus movement- started in the California coast in the 70’s – which saw thousands get baptized off the Pacific West Coast- Holy Spirit is saying to write: “yes, the Jesus Revolution started in the West Coast – but now – a Jubilee (50 years) later – off the East Coast comes Holy Spirit Revolution”.

“As far as the east is from the west, So far has He removed our transgressions from us.” Psalm 103:  12

“For just as the lightning comes from the east and flashes even to the west, so will the coming of the Son of Man.” Matthew 24:  27

“As for the rest of the tribes: from the east side to the west side, Benjamin, one portion.” Ezekiel 48:  23
